Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging has announced the menu and program schedule for its centers for active living for the week of Sept. 10.

All meals are served with 8 ounces of milk.

Monday, Sept. 10, Pineapple glazed ham, whipped sweet potatoes, coleslaw, wheat bread, chocolate pudding

Tuesday, Sept. 11, Beef stroganoff with gravy, buttered bowties, mixed vegetables, wheat bread, fresh fruit

Wednesday, Sept. 12, Chicken Caesar salad with mixed greens, Parmesan, croutons and Caesar dressing, minestrone soup with crackers, breadstick, sliced peaches

Thursday, Sept. 13, Stuffed pepper with tomato sauce, garlic whipped potatoes, coin carrots, wheat bread, strawberry shortcake

Friday, Sept. 14, Turkey, bacon and cheese club junior sandwich on roll with condiments, cream of broccoli soup with crackers, applesauce.

Clearfield Center for Active Living, 116 S. Second St., Clearfield, 765-9319, activities include Nintendo, Wii, Internet Café, lending library, puzzles, Healthy Steps in Motion exercise and cable television. Swimming is held each Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9 a.m. at the Aquatics Club at Clearfield YMCA. Bowling is held every Wednesday from noon to 4 p.m. at the Clearfield Bowling Lanes. Cards and games are played every afternoon following lunch.

Tuesday, 10 a.m., Blood pressure screenings and Aging Gracefully; 11 a.m., sing-along; and 1-3 p.m., farmer’s market voucher distribution

Wednesday, 11 a.m., “Identity Theft and Scams” with Phillip Little, state Attorney General’s office and 1-3 p.m., chronic pain class

Thursday, 10:30 a.m., Velvet Christmas tree craft. Those attending must preregister. The cost is $2 per person.

Coalport Center for Active Living, 850 Rear Main St., Coalport, 672-3574, activities include Healthy Steps in Motion exercise, brain aerobics, puzzles, Internet service, bingo, quilting, crafts, lending library, cancer support group and cable television.

Monday, 11 a.m., Coffee and doughnuts. Come and bring a friend.

Tuesday, 11:30 a.m., Hobby and collections day

Wednesday, 9:30-11:30 a.m., Farmer’s market voucher distribution and 11:30 a.m., blood pressure checks with Sue Hoover, Conemaugh Home Health

Thursday, 12:30 p.m., “Asthma Management” with Renee, AmeriHealth Caritas

Friday, 12:30 p.m., Bingo

Houtzdale Family Service Center, 40 Terrace Dr., Houtzdale, 378-5120, programs begin at 11 a.m. unless otherwise noted. Activities include cards, games and television. The center is closed on Fridays.
