What is Bristol Live? Your new home for news, sport and lifestyle in our city

Bristol Live is the new go-to site for those living in or close to the city.

The new brand, brought to you by the team behind the Bristol Post, will be part of our drive to better represent the communities in and around the city.

You can get in touch with us to let us know what you think about the change and we have also answered some of the questions you have.

What is happening to the Bristol Post website?

From Thursday, April 12, our website, mobile app and social media accounts will change to a new name: Bristol Live.

You can find us directly online in your browser at www.Bristol.Live from Thursday morning, so why not bookmark your link and pop back every morning for the latest from this great city.

Why though?

We changed the name so that it better reflects the work we will do to deliver a live, digital news, lifestyle and sports website.

Our audience told us they want a website that feels vibrant and inspirational, one that they can visit each day to find out what is happening at any given moment in this great city. We’ve changed the way we work to make sure we focus on the stories that really matter.

Bristol Live will be the place where you find all of this and so much more.

What is Bristol Live

If the people of Bristol are talking about it, we’ll cover it. That can be the best way to avoid today’s traffic, the latest football news or the newest exciting restaurant coming to our amazing city.

Bristol Live will keep you in the know about our city, every day.

Why have you changed the colour?

We asked Bristol what it thought about a range of colours to go with our new look, and the verdict was that this new lighter shade of blue is lively, modern and a better suit for the website you want to see in this city.

Will the app be changing?

Yes, the app will need to be updated to ensure you see the latest version.

You can download the app on IOS here and Android here
